GOOD EXAMPLES
It is a personal portfolio homepage of UI designer and the page looks clean and shows his style of work.
The page layout is A-symmetrical, the left side is context and the right side is an image. The context is symmetrical, aligns clear and logical, and shows the path of visual order, title-subtitle-body-list below it. The image is connected with what they saying, their creativity and skills are fresh and clear. Fonts are very clear and readable and mixed well. Colors are pure and soft to make eyes comfort.
BAD EXAMPLES
On the other hand, this page layout makes my eyes uncomfortable.
Two strong colors-red and neon green- are not harmonious. Furthermore, the font of the context is too thick and small to read, and the quote on the right page is not aligned. And decorative elements make this worse because dots are too much and the vertical line on the very right side is not fitted at all.
